Jixiang Theatre

Jixiang Theatre was built during the Guangxu period (1875-1908) in the Qing Dynasty. It was the first theatre in the inner city of old Beijing. Theatrical maestros like Tan Xinpei and Mei Lanfang have performed there. The theatre covers an area of 4,000 square meters and has a total of 320 seats on the upper and lower floors.
