Recently, the Beijing Library introduced its three distinguished theme sections to the public: the Intangible Cultural Heritage & Local History Section, the Ancient Books Section, and the Art Section.
The Intangible Cultural Heritage Section is the first comprehensive reading zone nationwide for literature on intangible cultural heritages. The "Yandu Impression" exhibition area encapsulates Beijing's 3000 years of urban development and 870-year story as the capital into a digital scroll.
The Ancient Books Section is designed to be an integrated space that combines the collection, reading, exhibition, experience, and promotion of ancient literature.
The Art Section includes several zones, such as the Palace of Vinyl Record, the Art Salon, and the Voice of Beijing.
All three characteristic theme sections are open from 10:00 to 20:00 every Tuesday to Sunday.
