The 2024 Beijing CBD Forum was held from June 5 to 7 under the theme "Dialogue with the World for Common Development". The forum adopted a "1+4+N" activity framework, which includes a grand opening ceremony, four core modules on business, finance, culture, and consumption, and various surrounding events covering think tank leadership, industrial promotion, and international exchanges. The forum focuses on hot topics such as green and low-carbon initiatives and new quality productivity.

For the first time, the forum will host a multinational corporation conference with companies like Tesla, Knorr-Bremse, and Charoen Pokphand Group participating to discuss development plans and seek new cooperation opportunities. As an important window for Beijing's opening up to the world, Beijing CBD has developed over more than two decades into the seventh-ranked business district globally and the top-ranked in China. It is home to over 10,000 foreign-invested enterprises and more than 200 Fortune 500 companies, along with leading global law firms, consulting firms, and HR outsourcing companies. According to the CBD Management Committee, the area now hosts 114 regional headquarters of multinational companies, accounting for about half of the city's total, and last year, 145 commercial buildings in the district generated over CNY 100 million in tax revenue.

Moreover, the forum will unveil several high-quality research outcomes, including the release of the "White Paper on Chinese Listed Companies Co-building the Belt and Road Initiative 2023". To support the construction of the international financial cluster, the Beijing CBD International Finance Forum will be held. In addition, there will be a Development Conference for the National Cultural Industry Innovation Experimental Zone focusing on "Digital + Culture" frontier topics. Various peripheral activities, such as the Liangma River International Waterfront micro shows CBD Forum Special Performance, will add value and vibrancy to the forum.
