Award-winning Works of Colourful World Presented at Paris Fair

From May 1 to 12, the 2024 "Wind from Orient: Thematic Exhibition on Chinese Culture" was held at Paris Fair (Foire de Paris) as part of a series of events for commemorating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. A total of 18 award-winning works of the Colorful World International Youth Painting Invitational Exhibition were displayed at the "Beijing-Paris: Exhibition on Culture of Beijing". These works presented the charm of Beijing as China's capital, the stories of this capital in ages past, and the contemporary ambiance of it, to the visitors both local and from elsewhere. Over 50 representatives from Chinese and French think tanks, media outlets, and cultural circles attended the event.

Paris Fair, founded in 1904, is a world-famous comprehensive exhibition with a long history and a worldwide influence. More than 3,000 exhibitors from over 100 countries and regions participated in this year's fair lasting for 12 days. The "Beijing-Paris: Exhibition on Culture of Beijing" was hosted by the Information Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality and the China International Communications Group, and organized by Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and several other entities.
