During the National Day holiday (October 1-7), major business districts in Beijing will launch a variety of fun activities to bring memorable holiday experiences to both locals and tourists from outside Beijing.
Wangfujing, the iconic century-old commercial street, exudes an international flair. Jaeger-LeCoultre's "The Precision Pioneer" exhibition made its Chinese debut on the lawn on the west side of WF Central. A watchmaking workshop has been set up there to help visitors get to know the art of watchmaking immersively.
On Qianmen Street, Sheng Xifu's hats, gold-inlaid lacquer, Silian Hairdressing's sandalwood combs and other exquisite Chinese-style artworks can all be found at the "Qianmen Market" China-chic cultural market, where visitors can closely appreciate the craftsmanship of the time-honored brands in Beijing. This event will run until October 31.
Meanwhile, with the start of the WTT China Smash, the business districts in western Beijing are embracing a sports craze. Xirondo PLAZA in Shijingshan District broadcasts the matches on large screens, while Chang'an Mill will host a "Wonderful Sports Carnival" inviting customers to enjoy sports like table tennis.
A series of trendy cultural exhibitions are also taking place across the city. On September 26, the Detective Conan-themed exhibition opened at INDIGO Mall, providing a space for fans to share their passion. During this holiday, Chaoyang Joy City will feature pop-up stores and a series of traditional Chinese cultural activities, including Hanfu parades and Guzheng performances. Additionally, the first exhibition of SEALOOK from LINE FRIENDS in China will be held at Xidan Joy City. At Taikoo Li Sanlitun, the first exhibition of "Horst: Photographer of Style" in northern China displays legendary works from Horst's 60-year photography career.
