Multiple Debuts at BJ Wangfujing International Brand Festival

The 9th Beijing Wangfujing International Brand Festival, opened on September 25, will run until late October, with events focusing on cultural tourism consumption to be rolled out in Wangfujing Commercial District, together with the debut of several outstanding brands.

WeChat Pay and Wangfujing Group jointly launched the "Initiative to Construct a Demonstration Business District for Both Inbound Consumption and Payment Facilitation" at the festival to further optimize inbound payment services. Through a variety of payment options, quick feedback channels, and profit-sharing marketing campaigns, the campaign will first be introduced at 18 malls including Wangfujing Department Store, WFJ Xiyue, and Dong'an Department Store, aiming to improve the travel and shopping experiences of foreign visitors in Beijing.

The exhibition titled "Beijing Central Axis in My Eyes" will also be unveiled for the first time during the festival. Leveraging interactive virtual reality (VR), the exhibition features a 1:1 full 3D high-precision simulation scene of the Central Axis through technological means. With special headset devices, visitors can "tour" the three must-see attractions of the Palace Museum, the Bell and Drum Towers, and Tian'anmen Gate Tower from multiple perspectives including the bird's eye view. Through this virtual tour, they will experience the magnificence and grandeur of these buildings in person.

Meanwhile, the "Iberian Peninsula Cultural Exhibition" will also grace Wangfujing Street, showcasing the distinctive customs and cultural features of Spain and Portugal. Nearly 30 local brands in sports, food, wine, home furnishings, and tableware will be promoted, many of which have never been sold in China before.
