Yanqing Olympic Zone
Nestled in the valley of the picturesque Xiaohaituo Mountain, Yanqing Olympic Zone is home to the Winter Olympic Exhibition Center, the National Alpine Skiing Center, the National Sliding Center, and Yanqing Olympic Village known as the "most beautiful Winter Olympic Village".
Visitors can take a rooftop sightseeing route named Youlong Walkway from the National Sliding Center's departure area to learn about the venue's history and the Winter Olympics' culture. You can also enjoy exhilarating, unpowered sliding while taking in picturesque forest views on the National Alpine Skiing Center's alpine slider which dashes on a slide built based on the hilly terrain.
Additionally, you can take rides on all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and utility task vehicles (UTVs), and try paddleboarding, kayaking and more.
From July 1 to September 30, admission is free at Yanqing Olympic Zone!
Beijing Shi Yuan Gui He International Tourism Resort
Do you prefer the hustle and bustle or the urban vibe? The "Nights in Expo Park" presents various new events for this summer.
As night falls at Beijing Shi Yuan Gui He International Tourism Resort, part of the China Pavilion, Wanhua Square, and the Chinese and international exposition gardens on both sides of the Chinese Axis are illuminated, and the water landscapes in these areas are open too. The Yisetai area to the north of the China Pavilion is an ideal place to watch the music fountain performance that starts at 20:30 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The resort will host the Trend Music Festival, featuring performances of different musical styles by well-known bands and artists. The immersive theatrical show "Menghua: Great Wall" will also be presented in the evening.
In addition, Yiqi Restaurant in the resort serves American-style fast food, seafood specialties, barbecued food and more. The event will last until September 1.
Yudu Mountain
Yudu Mountain is an excellent choice for you to return to nature. The verdant trees here make pleasant and cooling shade. You can hike along the creeks, or have fun outdoors on the alpine meadow, to relax in a tranquil atmosphere.
