The Daying 110kV Power Transmission and Transformation Project was recently completed and put into operation. Located in the 0902 block of Beijing Municipal Administrative Center (BMC), this is Beijing's first green building-based integrated digital zero-carbon substation. With a prime location, it is adjacent to the east side of Tongji Road and the south side of Yunhe East Street. With a total floor area of 5,185 square meters, the main buildings comprise a distribution equipment building and an auxiliary building.

Housed in a green building, the substation, during its design stage, incorporated environmental protection and energy-saving concepts. It is the first of its kind to use transformers using vegetable oil, a kind of renewable energy, and to replace sulfur hexafluoride and other gases with nitrogen and oxygen in 110 kV insulation equipment. Additionally, it employs new environment-friendly materials such as external wall panels for both thermal insulation and decoration, as well as rainwater infiltration sponges, achieving efficient energy utilization and low-carbon emissions.
