Beijing Shiyuan International Pickleball Sports Center was officially established on April 2. As Beijing's largest and highest-standard competition-level pickleball facility to date, it is located within the International Pavilion of Beijing Expo Park in Yanqing District. The future plans for this center include the construction of 21 standard competition pickleball courts, which will accommodate over 100 people for simultaneous competition.

It is reported that the center is slated to host three to five national-level pickleball competitions and one international-level competition in 2024.

Notably, the center will also serve as an auxiliary facility for sports education for Beijing Haidian Foreign Language Experimental School, dedicated to the development of the school's pickleball programs.

Pickleball, a racket sport that merges the dynamic confrontations found in tennis, the spin variations of table tennis, and the nimbleness of badminton, is accessible and enjoyable for individuals across all age groups.
