On May 25, Beijing Art Bonded Zone in Tianzhu Comprehensive Bonded Zone was officially launched, becoming a new landmark on the map of the cultural and artistic venues in Beijing. In the meantime, the 2024 Midsummer Art Season also opened to the public at the National Base for International Cultural Trade(Beijing)in Shunyi District.

The opening exhibition of the 2024 Midsummer Art Season features 11 distinctive sub-exhibitions dedicated to contemporary art, participated by more than 20 galleries and art institutions and over 100 artists with more than 300 artworks.

Over 20 art institutions, including Lisson Gallery from the United Kingdom, MASSIMODECARLO Gallery from Italy, and the Contemporary Tokyo Gallery, along with over 30 cultural relics and art service institutions, such as the Art Exhibitions China, have established their presence in Beijing Art Bonded Zone. During this art season, Lisson Gallery is presenting solo exhibitions of two prominent artists: "Phases of the Moon" by British artist Christopher Le Brun and "Carnivores" by Chinese artist Zhao Gang. MASSIMODECARLO Gallery is now exhibiting the works of Italian artist Luigi Ontani and Polish artist Piotr Uklański.

Other sub-events such as solo exhibitions of various international artists and art forums will be held later before the art season ends on August 31.
