'Daedalus: Legends of Crete' Special Exhibition Kicks off at Palace Museum
On April 14, the opening ceremony of a special exhibition titled "Daedalus: Legends of Crete" was held at the Palace Museum in Beijing. With Daedalus, a legendary skilled craftsman in Greek mythology, serving as the narrative thread, the exhibition presents one of the important origins of the ancient Greek civilization — the Minoan civilization rooted on Crete Island in the Bronze Age. The exhibition consists of six parts, combining myths with archaeological evidence in a clever way.
