Beijing Zoo

Located on the Xizhimenwai Street, Xicheng District of Beijing, and built in 1906, Beijing Zoo is the oldest public zoo with the largest variety of animals. Officially named "Beijing Zoo" in 1955, it covers an area of 80.05 hectares and is home to around 400 rare species, totally more than 5,000 wild animals.
