During this year's Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, parks in Beijing and the Museum of Chinese Gardens and Landscape Architecture will launch various themed activities such as science popularization sessions, intangible cultural heritage displays, interactive experiences, and more.

During the daytime, nearly 20 performances will be staged at these parks. Fragrant Hills Park will host a traditional Hanfu-themed cultural event, featuring ancient Chinese-style dance performances and etiquette displays along the park's main thoroughfare. Zizhuyuan Park (Purple Bamboo Park) will present a special traditional Chinese music and opera performance to convey the joy and blessings of the Mid-Autumn Festival to visitors. The Museum of Chinese Gardens and Landscape Architecture will stage a folk music performance for the public. The 23rd Osmanthus Culture Exhibition will be held at the Summer Palace.

Several parks are also organizing splendid night tours. Beihai Park will launch various night tours featuring potted plants, theatrical performances, and intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, allowing visitors to experience traditional Chinese culture and modern art up close. On the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Shouhuang Dian (Hall of Imperial Longevity) in Jingshan Park will be illuminated, adding charm to the classical beauty of the park. Taoranting Park will stage a performance on the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival, offering visitors an audiovisual feast by playing classic songs such as "The Moon Represents My Heart" and "Moon River" at Huxin Pavilion.

During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, locals and tourists can also catch a glimpse of the "special gifts" at the exhibition area of these parks. The China National Botanical Garden (North Garden) will host a fair featuring handicrafts and creative gifts inspired by autumnal plants, as well as offering visitors the chance to taste specialty food such as osmanthus cake. Beijing Zoo will also hold a similar fair, featuring panda-themed iced drinks and a collection of its copyrighted products. Beihai Park will host the "Beihai Golden Autumn" fair at its Fangshan Square.

As travel programs featuring the Central Axis are gaining popularity, these parks will also launch special Mid-Autumn Festival activities at the relevant heritage sites, such as "Overlooking the Central Axis from Top of Jingshan Hill" and "Observing Gardens on Central Axis at Temple of Heaven Park". All these efforts allow visitors to explore Beijing's Central Axis in depth and experience the profound Chinese culture during this traditional festival.
