In the summer vacation, multiple tourist scenic areas in Beijing extend their opening hours and launch various characteristic activities such as nighttime tours.
[Xicheng District]
[Taoranting Park]
Taoranting Park: From July 14 to August 31, the Cibei Nunnery and the Science Popularization House are open as usual on Mondays.
Beihai Park: From July 14 to August 31, the Yong'an Temple, the Jingxin Studio, the Wanfo Building Remain Site and other spots are open as usual on Mondays.
Jingshan Park: From July 14 to August 31, the Shouhuang Hall, the Guande Hall and other spots are open as usual on Mondays.
Beijing Xuannan Culture Museum: From July 13 to August 31, the opening hours are extended to 18:30 (last entry at 18:00) on Saturdays and Sundays. No more reservation is required for individual visitors since July 8, but group visits need to be three days in advance to make a reservation by phone.
Beijing Zoo: From July 14 to August 31, the Changguan Building is open as usual on Mondays.
Beijing Planetarium: From July 17 to the end of the summer vacation, the venue closes on Tuesdays instead of Mondays. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, it opens from 9:00 to 18:00 (ticket sales stop at 17:30), with 1.5 hours in extension. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, the opening hours are from 9:00 to 19:00 (ticket sales stop at 18:00), with a two-hour extension.
Capital Museum: In July, the Capital Museum will extend its opening hours to 20:00 on July 6, July 13, July 20, and July 27 (opening from 9:00 to 20:00, with the last entry at 19:00).
Notice: Extended opening sessions require separate reservations. Every visitor must make a real-name reservation in advance through the Capital Museum's official WeChat account. Entry without a reservation is not permitted. On-site reservations are available if slots are not fully booked.
[Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum]
Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum: It has extended the opening hours for every Saturday since July 1, opening from 9:00 to 19:00 (ticket sales and admission closed at 18:00). The schedule will be in effect until August 31.
[Dongcheng District]
Bell and Drum Towers: From July 5 to August 18, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the Drum Tower will extend its opening hours until 18:30, while the opening hours of the Bell Tower will remain as usual.

[Haidian District]
National Botanical Garden, Summer Palace, Fragrant Hills Park, Yuyuantan Park, Zizhuyuan Park: From July 15 to August 31, these parks are open regularly on Mondays, with no closures of their inner gardens.
[Beijing Art Museum]
Beijing Art Museum: It has extended its opening hours for every Saturday since July 1, opening from 9:00 to 19:00 (last entry at 18:00). The schedule will be in effect until August 31.
[Chaoyang District]
[National Stadium (Bird's Nest)]
National Stadium (Bird's Nest): Starting from July 1, the National Stadium (Bird's Nest) has resumed its full-day visiting option, opening from 10:00 to 22:00 (last ticket check-in at 21:00). The nighttime scenic lighting is turned off at 23:00.
[Shijingshan District]
Shijingshan Amusement Park: Opens from 9:00 to 21:00, featuring a limited-time evening session.
[Fangshan District]
[Zhoukoudian Peking Man Site Scenic Area]
Zhoukoudian Peking Man Site Scenic Area: From July 17 to September 1, the Zhoukoudian Site Museum opens all week from Monday to Sunday, with no Monday closures. The opening hours are extended to 17:00 from Sunday to Friday, and to 18:30 on Saturdays.
Fangshan UNESCO Global Geopark Museum: Monday closures canceled from July 18 to September 1.
[Tongzhou District]
Beijing Tongzhou Grand Canal Cultural Scenic Area: From May 1 to October 7, nighttime cruises are available every night with three departures respectively at 19:10, 19:50 and 20:30.
[Shunyi District]
Beijing Hebei Village Folk Culture Scenic Area: From July 17 to August 31, the extended opening hours are from 9:00 to 22:00. Entry stops at 21:00, and the scenic area closes at 22:00. The Village History Museum closes at 16:00.
[Changping District]
[The Ming Tombs]
The Ming Tombs (Changling, Dingling, Zhaoling, Shenlu): Since April 1, the scenic area's opening hours have been adjusted to 8:30 to 18:00, with ticket sales, checks, and entry ceasing at 17:30.
[Juyongguan Great Wall]
The Juyongguan Great Wall Scenic Area: It adopted a new schedule on May 1, which will be in effect until October 12. During this period, the scenic area hosts night shows from 18:30 to 22:00 every Friday and Saturday, and during statutory holidays (closed on the last days of statutory holidays). Ticket check-in opens from 6:30 to 21:00. The Great Wall night show area remains open continuously, allowing visitors to enjoy the scenic area from day to night in a seamless way.
[Huairou District]
[Mutianyu Great Wall]
The Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area: From July 1 to August 31, the opening hours have been extended from 7:00 to 21:30. The area stretching from the No. 10 Fortified Tower to the No. 15 Fortified Tower is open to the public.
Notice: The tickets for the night tours are sold separately. After purchasing tickets, visitors can enter the area by having their ID documents scanned.
Yanqi Lake: From May 1 to October 7, visitors can enter the park free from 19:00 to 22:00 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and during holidays, with discounts on entertainment activities.
[Pinggu District]
Yaji Mountain: From July 18 to August 31, the mountain opens at 6:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.
[Yanqing District]
Yudu Mountain: Opens from 8:00 to 16:00 (ticket check stops at 16:00) on Saturdays and Sundays during the summer vacation.
Duijiushi Scenic Area: The summer opening hours are from 8:30 to 18:00 on Mondays to Fridays, and from 8:00 to 18:00 on Saturdays and Sundays during the summer vacation.
Yeya Lake: From July 18 to August 31, the daily opening hours are extended to 8:40 to 17:30.
Beijing Expo Park: From July 14 to August 31, the operation hours are from 9:00 to 21:30, with closure at 22:00.
