The annual check-up for pet dogs in Beijing will officially commence on May 1 and continue until December 31. It's been reported that this year, in line with last year's trial operation, the Beijing Police has introduced a mobile App service. As of today, dog owners can conveniently complete the annual check-up for their dogs and initial registration for dogs through their mobile phones without leaving their homes.

Dog owners can access the official WeChat account of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau (平安北京), tap "Online Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau" (网上北京市公安局) in the section "Beijing Police" (北京警务), and then tap "Canine Administration" (养犬管理); or enter the page "Canine Administration" (养犬管理) through the official WeChat account "Capital Public Security Micro Tips" (首都治安微提示). By logging in with their mobile phone numbers, they can apply for the relevant services and make online payments for administrative service fees after passing verification. Once the Beijing Police confirms that the dogs meet the criteria for pet-keeping and that the documents are correct, the corresponding procedures will start and the corresponding electronic certificates will be issued. Users can view their certificates in the section "My Dogs" (我的犬只) section under the column "My Services" (我的业务).
