Discover the best of Chinese culture this Spring Festival with a range of special exhibitions tailored for you! These exhibitions include the "Embracing the Spring: Celebrating the New Year of Snake" cultural exhibition at the National Museum of China, the Exhibition of the Woodblock New Year Paintings in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region at the Capital Museum, the Joint Exhibition of the Zodiac Cultural Relics of the Year of the Snake at the China National Museum of Women and Children, and the Exhibition of the Traditional Woodblock New Year Paintings from the Collection of the Prince Kung's Mansion Museum, among many other wonderful ones.

The "Embracing the Spring: Celebrating the New Year of Snake" cultural exhibition at the National Museum of China opened on January 22, showcasing more than 200 pieces and sets of exquisite artifacts from the museum's collection, covering bronze, jade, ceramics and other categories. Popular artifacts presented include the Polychrome Pottery Figurines of Twelve Zodiacs (彩绘十二生肖陶俑) and Fu Hao Owl-Shaped Vessel (Zun) (妇好鸮尊). The Exhibition of the Woodblock New Year Paintings in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region at the Capital Museum features 120 pieces and sets of artifacts and will run until April.

There are also a variety of folk culture-themed events, including the "Ancient China" Spring Festival-themed educational events of the National Museum of China, the 24th Beijing Folk Culture Festival at the Beijing Folklore Museum, the event "Celebrating the Chinese New Year at a Planetarium" of Beijing Planetarium, the event "Meet at the Imperial College to Welcome the Spring Festival" at Confucius Temple and the Imperial College Museum, the China Railway Museum's event featuring limited-edition "Year of the Snake" stamps and woodblock printing works, and the "Hundred Blessings Through Rubbing for Chinese New Year" program at Pinggu District Museum, among others.

As for creative cultural offers, five themed events will be rolled out. The Grand Canal Museum of Beijing and Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum will host several bazaars featuring creative souvenirs. And the merchandise spaces of various museums and major e-commerce live-streaming platforms will take turns to carry out promotional campaigns featuring the creative cultural products for the public. The creative cultural products of the city's museums will also be part of the traditional temple fairs such as those of Changdian, Ditan, and Dongyue Temple.

A cultural heritage-themed tour route has also been outlined. The museum-themed route along the Central Axis will, going south to north, link destinations such as the National Natural History Museum of China, the Palace Museum, the Prince Kung's Mansion Museum, Guo Shoujing Memorial Hall, the Bell and Drum Towers, etc.
