The Beijing Olympic Park at Chaoyang District has recently introduced a 7.5-kilometer closed-loop cycling route. With a moderate length, the route is suitable for cyclists of all skill levels.
Biking along the route, cycling enthusiasts will pass by landmarks such as the China National Convention Center, the China National Arts and Crafts Museum, the Museum of the Communist Party of China, the Digital Beijing Building, and the National Indoor Stadium, while enjoying scenic views including the Bird's Nest, the Water Cube, and the plaza of the Olympic central area.
Chaoyang District has also developed a cycling-friendly community near the Beijing Olympic Tower and the main sightseeing route, which encompasses brand stores, cafes, casual dining locations, bicycle rentals, and markets. The community even offers one-stop services covering sports equipment and related accessories, and bicycle assembling, tuning, and maintenance. Bicycle rental services for touring the Beijing Olympic Park are also available, allowing citizens to visit the park and experience cycling with much less effort.
Cycling stations along Yueliangwan (Moon Bay) and the dragon-shaped water system will regularly host cycling-themed events and sports brand pop-up activities. These stations are equipped with cafes, professional bicycle maintenance shops, and stores selling creative cultural products. Cyclists can relax while enjoying themselves in these leisure and social spaces.
