On May 15, the 17th International Day event at Beijing University of Technology, themed "Building Dreams Together with the World, Colorful Beijing towards the Future", was successfully held along with the opening ceremony and artistic performances at Qiushi Square. Diplomats from the embassies of Yemen, Uganda, and Vietnam in China, as well as international students from 46 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, and South America, attended the opening ceremony, artistic performances, and multicultural exhibitions, together with Chinese faculty and students.

On the stage, international students in their traditional attire delivered a series of magnificent performances for the audience. The event began with a drum performance by students from various African countries, whose dynamic rhythms quickly stirred the audience's excitement. International students from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, and Pacific Island nations brought dance performances showcasing their national customs. Additionally, international students as members of the Tai Chi Martial Arts Club and the Chinese Yo-yo Club gave Tai Chi and Chinese Yo-yo performances together with Chinese faculty and students. In the end, the performances concluded amidst the school song "Tomorrow" by both Chinese and international students.

During the performances, there were also activities such as passport stamping, cultural exploration, and interactive games. International students from 46 countries focused on presenting their own countries' cultural histories, geographical landscapes, traditional attire, and musical instruments, attracting a large number of spectators who stopped to watch.

Since its inception in 2006, the series of events of International Day has been successfully held for seventeen editions.
