The exhibition "AlUla: Wonder of Arabia" has recently opened at the West Yanchiin Meridian Gate of the Palace Museum.
This exhibition represents AlUla's debut in showcasing its breathtaking natural landscapes, precious archaeological artifacts, and vibrant cultural heritage in China. The collection of 230 exhibits includes 50 recently unearthed artifacts that have never been previously exhibited to the public.
In addition to the recently unearthed artifacts, the exhibition showcases a variety of archaeological items including sculptures, pottery, rock paintings, inscriptions, bronze artifacts, ancient biological fossils, and works by the renowned photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand. These components collectively offer a comprehensive interpretation of the spectacular natural beauty and cultural significance of AlUla.
The exhibition will be open until March 22. Visitors can make reservations through the Palace Museum's website or WeChat mini-program.
