The space is built to explore a new type of lifestyle, where residents can live their life freely, with any need they have being met.

The books there generally are themed around culture and art. The space hosts several interactive activities that embody Chinese aesthetics and lifestyle, such as tea tasting and seal dyeing. There is also a 300-square-meter-large display space that brings together outstanding works by artists from all over China. Estimatedly, eight to 12 exhibitions of various kinds will be held throughout the year.

Liu Yajing, Deputy Director of Huairou District Culture and Tourism Bureau, said that the Bureau is considering promoting more comprehensive cultural spaces like this given the successful practice of 30db Cang Space.
