During the first five months of 2023, dual growth has been observed in the development of the Integrated National Demonstration Zone for Opening up the Services Sector and the China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone (the "Two Zones" for short) within the Beijing Capital International Airport Economic Zone, namely the number of new projects added to the project pool and practical cases related to policy innovation. An addition of 75 new projects to the project pool has been witnessed, reflecting a year-on-year growth rate of 92.3 percent. Moreover, four new best practical cases have been selected and submitted to the Integrated Coordination Office of the Development of the "Two Zones" in Beijing, showcasing the expansion of the functions of a wide range of policies.

Beijing Capital International Airport Economic Zone will fully utilize the combined advantages offered by comprehensive bonded zones, free trade zones, and airport economic zones, as part of its "Two Zones" development plan. To this end, Beijing Capital International Airport Economic Zone aims to promote functional innovation of policies, undertake more pilot projects that integrate bonded zones with consumption and enhance investment promotion efforts. The ultimate goal is to accelerate the implementation of major industrial projects and contribute significantly to achieving high-quality growth in the airport economy.
