By the end of April, 2,632 new projects of the investment attraction pool of the "Two Zones" (i.e. the Integrated National Demonstration Zone for Opening up the Services Sector and the China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone), with a total investment of CNY 483.6 billion, were implemented. These new projects include 204 foreign-funded ones with a total investment of USD 8.49 billion.

Since the beginning of 2023, Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center, led by its officials, has been actively promoting investment activities outside of Beijing, including the rest of China and overseas countries and regions. By leveraging platforms like Hannover Messe in Germany and China Import and Export Fair to organize tailored investment promotion activities aimed toward Beijing, attracting more than 100 multinational companies and unicorns. So far, it has signed two cooperative agreements, collected eight project proposals, and facilitated the implementation of six projects.
