Beijing's Shunyi District will expedite the building of the Beijing Exhibition Business District (Beijing EBD) in order to better serve the development of the "Two Zones" and further promote the high-quality development of the convention and exhibition industry. Recently, Shunyi District issued the Measures of Shunyi District for Supporting the Agglomeration and Development of the Convention and Exhibition Industry (hereinafter referred to as the Measures). According to the Measures, the district offers CNY 50 million as incentives, with a grant up to CNY 6 million for an eligible exhibition. 

The Measures, well-targeted, provides guidance, highlights the concept of green development, and covers three innovative industrial clusters, namely intelligent new energy vehicles, aerospace, and third-generation semiconductors, with a grant up to CNY 6 million for each exhibition themed on these cutting-edge sectors. Moreover, the Measures supports the development of exhibitions featuring modern services, sci-tech innovation and cultural creativity that are in line with the function positioning of Beijing as the national capital, with a maximum reward of CNY 500,000 for each high-growth exhibition projects. In addition, the Measures encourages key exhibition institutions with global influence to hold high-level forums and seminars as supporting events for exhibitions, with a maximum subsidy of CNY 500,000. The Measures also promotes the development of bonded service exhibitions in combination with the competitive resources of the Tianzhu Comprehensive Bonded Zone, with a maximum reward of CNY 200,000.
