By seizing the opportunity of the "Two Zones" development, the Beijing CBD takes the initiative to integrate into Beijing's open and innovative pattern of development and strives to promote high-quality industrial development. In 2022, the "Two Zones" construction by Beijing CBD had many highlights:

Eighteen policies for Beijing CBD's high-quality development were released.

The city's first B&R-RCEP Innovation Service Center was officially established.

A WeChat mini-program of free trade inquiry, the first of its kind in Beijing, was launched. 

Beijing CBD reached a cooperation consensus with Tongzhou, Shunyi and Daxing districts for the opening-up and innovation of the service sector in Beijing's "Two Zones", aiming to jointly foster a regular communication mechanism, a cooperation platform for institutional innovation and an international investment attraction and cooperation system in addition to a wide range of common efforts for industrial innovation.

The Trade Technology Alliance was officially established at the 2022 China E-Commerce Convention during the 2022 CIFITS.

The exchange rate hedging center providing services for those without previous experience settled the first transaction since its establishment.

Beijing CBD's "New Model of Digital Service Empowerment for the Whole Chain of Cross-border Trade" was selected as one of the representative cases demonstrating the reforms and innovations in Beijing's "Two Zones" development.

An online calculator was launched to facilitate analysis of economic and trade rules.
