In 2022, five financial institutions specializing in free trade service set up offices in Chaoyang District, Beijing, and 11 enterprises in the district went public at home or abroad.

As Beijing's center for finance, insurance and reinsurance, and venture capital at the international level, Chaoyang District is home to a lot of institutions specializing in free trade service, including 30% of banking institutions, 30% of securities institutions, and 70% of insurance institutions of this kind in the city.

In 2022, Chaoyang District continued to step up efforts to attract investment from major financial institutions. In terms of the international listing service system, Chaoyang District has brought together a number of Chinese representative offices of well-known overseas exchanges such as NYSE, Nasdaq, Deutsche Börse, SGX, and KRX, maintained close contact with HKEX and LSE, and signed strategic cooperation agreements with SSE, SZSE and BSE.
