● Conditions for eligibility:

Any overseas Chinese who has started a business in Zhongguancun (not subject to the age limit of 60) can directly apply for a five-year work-type residence permit based on his/her work permit and a letter of sponsorship from his/her employer. Alternatively, he/she can, based on his/her business plan, apply directly for a five-year residence permit for private affairs, which is endorsed with "Entrepreneurship". Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, in conjunction with relevant authorities, is authorized to formulate measures for the identification of overseas Chinese, which are to be implemented after approval by the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China. Requirements for Applicants and Materials: 1. The applicant is an overseas Chinese who has come to Zhongguancun for the purposes of innovation and entrepreneurship and requires recognition. 2. The materials submitted by the applicant are complete. 3. The application materials fulfill the conditions for acceptance.
