Didi Haidian Marathon 2024 will officially kick off at Zhongguancun No. 1 on October 27.

Didi Haidian Marathon 2024, a new marathon race in Beijing, has been certified as an A1-class race by the Chinese Athletics Association. With over 10,000 people registering for the race within three hours after opening of registration, it eventually received application from a total of 21,239 runners from 24 countries and regions including China, the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, Russia, and Canada.

As reported, high technology will be widely applied in the event. Runners can access services such as information inquiry, venue navigation, result inquiry, and photo downloading through the event's official mini-program on WeChat, and they can also check in and acquire supplies through more efficient ways such as time-specific reservation and facial recognition. A dynamic monitoring system for medical resources will be in place to enhance medical services during the race. Moreover, an AI virtual host will participate in the live broadcast, and runners will receive a customized AI short video after finishing the race.

Meanwhile, the race's organizing committee will hold the Haidian Marathon Carnival at Zhongguancun No. 1 from October 24 to 26. The carnival will feature massage robots, virtual smart tracks, and other experience programs.
