On June 10, as a highlight of this year's cultural activities for the Dragon Boat Festival in Beijing Municipal Administrative Center, the much-anticipated 2024 Beijing Dragon Boat Race kicked off at the Grand Canal in Tongzhou District (from Qianhexielu Bridge to Dongguan Bridge). More than 20 teams, involving people from all walks of life including community residents, corporate employees, university students, and international friends, gathered at the Grand Canal to compete in the mixed 200-meter straight race.

The best watching spots at the Canal Cultural Square and the Qianhexielu Bridge were bustling, with citizens and tourists flocked to the banks to witness the dragon boat race firsthand.
