2024 Beijing Daxing Half Marathon kicks off

On April 27, 2024, the Beijing Daxing Half Marathon and the 8th "Joyful Running Among Flowers in Daxing" Half Marathon kicked off at Weishanzhuang Town, a sports-themed town in Beijing. 6,000 people experienced the charm of sports in a sea of flowers.

It is reported that during the upcoming May Day holiday, Weishanzhuang Town will also hold a event named "Encounter Weishanzhuang in Summer Carnival", which will run from May 1 to May 5. The main venue will be located in the picturesque rural village of Banbidian Village in Weishanzhuang Town. Leveraging attractions such as the Republic of China (1912-1949) style immersive drama experience base, the village's historical museum, and the lakeside park, the event will feature a "Flower Weishanzhuang Market" for shopping and eating, a "Beiping Theater" for taking photos, as well as a "camping area" close to nature and the starry sky.
