As one of the three major cultural buildings in the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center(Beijing's sub-center), the Beijing City Library will open on the afternoon of December 27.

The library covers a total building area of about 75,000 square meters, with a collection of eight million volumes. It has the largest single reading room, and the largest collection among China's intelligent three-dimensional libraries, providing the first comprehensive reading space for intangible cultural heritage literature in China, with the most professional art archives in China. It is alsoChina'slargest largest outdoor reading space for children and a metaverse experience hall.
