Beijing Traditional Culture and Cuisine Festival allows visitors to have up-close experiences of the charm of the traditional Chinese opera.

A food court of time-honored traditional Chinese restaurants, centered around the theme of "Beijing Flavors", was created on-site, featuring Hongbinlou, Emei Restaurant, Kaorouji, Shaguoju and many other dining options alike. The two events also enable tourists from all over the world to closely appreciate the profound heritage of the traditional Chinese opera at Fuliancheng Shiguang Theater, a venue established in collaboration with the centennial Fuliancheng Peking Opera School. In addition, China Gifts teamed up with art masters such as bronze art master Zhu Bingren to present traditional Chinese culture and intangible cultural heritage techniques through souvenir gifts.

To provide young travellers with a deeper appreciation of the charm of the traditional Chinese culture and China's intellectual masterpieces during the summer vacation, Beijing Traditional Culture and Cuisine Festival and Beijing Shouwenke Wenchuang Real Estate have jointly launched the "Landmarks of Beijing's Cultural and Creative Industries" exhibition, putting on display prominent creative cultural products in Beijing, including those from the Palace Museum, the Temple of Heaven, the Imperial Academy and Beihai Park.
