The Beijing Digital Economy Computing Power Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Center"), an E-level intelligent computing center located in Jiuxianqiao, Chaoyang District, Beijing, officially announced the completion of its infrastructure recently. The Center has set a new paradigm for building and operating intelligent computing centers in China. Let's explore what's inside this "future AI factory".

The Center is designated to be a future-oriented AI computing hub, where architecture, landscape, and lighting are ingeniously integrated through a sophisticated grid system. The dynamic lighting effect system on the facade—serving as a real-time visualization tool—transforms the abstract computing power into a visible "urban digital landmark".

In terms of its overall layout, the Center adopts a model that combines "computing power and ecosystem", integrating computing power infrastructure, trusted data spaces, AI computing power demonstration spaces, innovation incubation and collaboration spaces, a sci-tech plaza, and other functional spaces. This enables the Center to meet the needs of diversified scenarios, including large model training, inference, and scientific computing.

The Center has a "one base + two platforms" structure to support the development of the AI industry.

In terms of AI foundation, it houses full-stack AI infrastructure and AI tools. Regarding computing power, it has established the first large-scale, high-performance computing power infrastructure in China. Concerning models, it provides advanced basic model capabilities to improve the efficiency of model training and inference. As for data, it effectively utilizes data to deliver high-quality, trusted data services. In terms of operation, it has deployed digital twin systems and intelligent platforms for visualized operation, maintenance and management, greatly enhancing the operation and maintenance efficiency and management precision.

The Center also has two platforms for industrial development: one empowering the traditional sectors and the other facilitating the growth of emerging industries. The former covers sectors such as healthcare, education, and culture; while the latter focuses on cutting-edge fields like the low-altitude economy, embodied intelligence, and AI4S, which will drive AI industrialization.
