On November 15, the themed event "Beijing, City of Books" was launched at Beijing Books Building as a part of the 12th Beijing People Beneficial Cultural Consumption Season. The event features discount campaigns themed "Latest Releases" and "Crazy Monday", tours at unique bookstores, book salons, and other fascinating sub-events.

The "Beijing, City of Books" segment unveiled a selected book list for November, which encompassed 11 books such as Hi, I'm China (3), Palace Museum Calendar 2025 (Calligraphy and Painting Version), Speeches by Mo Lifeng, and books of the Chinese Technology in Eyes of Chinese Academicians series.

Covering multiple renowned physical bookstores in Beijing and online platforms, the "Crazy Monday" campaign was launched on November 1 and will last until the end of this year. A variety of discounts are being offered by Beijing Books Building, Wangfujing Bookstore, Zhongguancun Book Building, and several online platforms.

For the "Stroll with Books" segment, the hosting party has launched "Amazing Trendy Beijing" themed tours at unique bookstores. Following the route guide on the designated mini-program, readers can reach the bookstores involved and then receive intelligent audio prompts for diversified immersive interactions. Besides going sightseeing, browsing, observing, listening, and learning at these bookstores, readers can also participate in online treasure-digging games to win free movie tickets.

In addition, the 12th Beijing People Beneficial Cultural Consumption Season is partnering with Amap to create a map mini-program offering a series of distinctive book-themed routes. Through this mini-program, users can reach cultural consumption venues with ease, plan their itineraries, set up groups with their friends, share real-time locations, etc.
