Recently, Beijing Rail Transit officially launched ticket payment services that support overseas bank cards.

All 27 operational lines of the rail transit network in Beijing now have 1,087 point-of-sale (POS) machines for ticket purchase, all compatible with financial IC cards and magnetic stripe cards issued by overseas banks, and six types of foreign cards such as Visa and MasterCard. Moving forward, Beijing Rail Transit will support the tap-and-go payments with foreign bank cards within this year and continue to improve its payment services.

Meanwhile, Beijing Subway has launched special English training courses for its staff. Tian'anmenxi (Line 1), Dongzhimen and Beijing Zhan (Beijing Railway Station) (Line 2), Nanluogu Xiang (Line 6), Aolinpike Gongyuan (Olympic Park) (Line 8), Xi'erqi (Line 13), Maquanying (Line 15), stations on Batong Line, Universal Resort (Line 7), and many other major stations are now equipped with multilingual translators to enable multilingual barrier-free communication and provide foreigners with more accurate travel information.
