Scholarship Application and Review Process
Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) offers the following 4 types of scholarships. Except for the Freshman Scholarship, the other three kinds of scholarships are reviewed annually starting from the second year of enrollment. Eligible students may apply directly. The specific provisions for scholarship funding are outlined in the Management and Implementation Measures of the International Student Scholarship of Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
1. Freshman Scholarship: Covers all tuition fees for the first academic year.
2. First-Tier Scholarships: Covers all tuition fees for one academic year.
3. Second-Tier Scholarships: Covers 50 percent of tuition fees for one academic year.
4. Special Contribution Scholarships: This scholarship rewards international students who have excelled or made significant contributions in academics, sports, arts, cultural exchange, or public service. The subsidy amount is up to 5,000 RMB per recipient per academic year.
Scholarship applicants must:
- Comply with all laws and university regulations, respect their teachers, demonstrate good moral character, and maintain a diligent attitude toward their studies.
-, Maintain respectful and constructive relationships with their classmates and actively participate in group activities.
- Attend classes regularly without unexcused tardiness, early departures, or absences.
- Complete all required credits for the previous academic year with satisfactory grades.
- Have paid all tuition fees and meet the criteria set forth by the university’s scholarship review regulations.
The International Student Scholarships Jury will adhere to the principles of standardization, objectivity, and fairness in selecting scholarship applicants.
Scholarships for Non-Degree Programs
For international students enrolled in non-degree programs, BUCEA offers a Freshman Scholarship that covers full tuition for one academic year (the One Semester Language Training Program covers full tuition for one semester).
The International Student Scholarships Jury will adhere to the principles of standardization, objectivity, and fairness in selecting scholarship applicants.
Scholarship applicants must:

If the recipient receives any disciplinary action for any reason, their scholarship eligibility will be revoked, and relevant scholarship payments will be terminated.
