Beijing Geely University (BGU) is a private university founded by Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (ZGH), a member of the Fortune Global 500. The university is located in the zone of the Changping Sci-Tech Park of Zhongguancun. It has a campus stretching over a land area of 1300 acres with a gross floor area of nearly 450,000 square meters.

BGU is comprised of 3 schools as follows: School of Automotive Engineering, School of Business, and School of Humanities and Design. Current disciplines are composed of seven categories: engineering, management, economics, law, literature, education and fine arts. BGU offers an overall of 29 bachelor degree programs and 20 diploma programs such as Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Design and Automation, Automobile Support Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, IT, Electronic Information Engineering, Data Science and Data Technology, Network Engineering, Economics and Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Logistics Management, E-Business, Management Science, Auditing, International Economics and Trade, Financial Management, etc.

With the permission of the Ministry of Education, BGU was granted the "Outstanding Private University in China" award by the Chinese Association for Non-Government Education in June, 2011. In March 2019, it was honored with the "5 A Social Organization" award for the second time by the Beijing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau.
