In Miyun, the suburb of Beijing, there is a village with water and soil as good as a nature reserve. Children and adults can hear the chirping of insects and birds again and know what a good life should be like. Designers went into the village to restore the traditional Chinese customs, so that more urban people can experience diverse cultural folk customs. To be a "villager" here is happy, because people can live with nature in harmony and regain the feeling of being connected with the earth.
