The history and culture of Beijing's old city is a great testimony to the long history of Chinese culture, and those buildings in the hutongs are the crystallization of a nation's culture.To preserve them is to better pass them on. Zhang Zhiyong is a cultural volunteer and part of his job is to tell stories to visitors to the hutongs in the Dongsi area, making good use of the valuable treasures left by the ancients and telling the stories of the hutongs to more people.
