As the nearest forest park to the downtown area of Beijing, Baiwang Mountain Forest Park enjoys a reputation of the "urban oxygen source of Beijing". It was rated as a national AAA-level tourist attraction in 2001, and was listed as one of the third batch of "China's Forest Oxygen Bar" in 2017.
