The Beijing Central Axis Protection and Management Plan (2022-2035) has been officially released and implemented since January 29. The plan takes into consideration the heritage sites and surrounding environment, and scientifically specifies the heritage zone and buffer zone of the conservation area which covers 51.3 square kilometers in total. In particular, the plan designates the specific boundaries of the conservation area for the first time.
