Recently, at Beijing South Station, Ms. Li sought assistance from Beijing Transit Police officer Wu Hao. Ms. Li said she had left her backpack  with USD 10,000 cash for her overseas trip and a laptop in it, on a train of subway Line 14 on her way to the high-speed rail station.

After an extensive search of about half an hour, Wu successfully located the backpack. It turned out that the backpack was left unattended on the train all the way to the terminal station, where the station staff found it and placed it in the lost and found department.

According to Beijing Subway, riders who have lost their belongings may access the "Lost and Found" section of the Beijing Subway Service Mini Program on WeChat to check if their lost belongings have been found.

Alternatively, you can access the "Report My Loss" section to provide details about your lost belongings, when and where you lost them, and your contact information. After submitting, you can track the progress of the search for your lost belongings.
