The centralized enrollment period for the 2024 "Beijing Inclusive Health Insurance" has officially ended at 24:00 on December 31, 2023. As a supplementary medical insurance in Beijing, the Inclusive Health Insurance provides close connection with basic medical insurance and allows payment through personal medical insurance accounts.

In response to the enrollment requests of the general public and employers, the project team of the "Beijing Inclusive Health Insurance" has decided to extend the enrollment period for the year 2024 until January 31, 2024. The premium remains at CNY 195 per person per year, and the coverage period is still from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024.

1. How to check if the enrollment is successful?

Residents can follow the WeChat official account of "Beijing Inclusive Health Insurance", then click on the bottom menu bar [Personal Center -> Personal Center], select the year 2024, click [Go to Check], complete the login, and click [My Policy] to check if you have successfully enrolled.

2. How to apply for claims?

For eligible urban employees, urban and rural residents, and the insured person of the new rural cooperative medical scheme, "Beijing Inclusive Health Insurance" will proactively contact them by short messaging service and compensate for the self-paying expenses within the medical insurance and the out-of-pocket expenses for hospitalization outside the medical insurance. After receiving the claims notification, insured individuals can fill in the recipient's account information and other relevant information through the WeChat official account of "Beijing Inclusive Health Insurance," without the need to provide medical bills or other claims materials (except for special circumstances), further simplifying the claims process. For special drug claims, insured individuals can apply for claims online through the WeChat official account of "Beijing Inclusive Health Insurance."

To ensure your benefits, it is recommended to keep the medical receipts, medical insurance settlement documents, and medical records until all medical expenses are fully reimbursed through fast claims.

3. How to apply for health services?

The 2024 "Beijing Inclusive Health Insurance" program includes 49 services in six major categories: medical care assistance, home nursing, home rehabilitation, doorstep testing, institutional services, and daily care. Insured individuals can apply for five free health services after seeking medical treatment by making appointments online through the WeChat official account of "Beijing Inclusive Health Insurance."

4. Who can enroll for the insurance program?

The following four categories of individuals can enroll for the this insurance program, regardless of age or health condition. Pre-existing conditions are eligible for coverage and compensation.

① Insured individuals in the basic medical insurance system of Beijing (including urban employee basic medical insurance and urban and rural resident basic medical insurance);

② Specific groups (referring to insured individuals from land requisition, retirement, and military retirement) managed by the Beijing Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau and other relevant government departments;

③ Insured individuals under the central government's medical expenses program;

④ Beijing residents who hold a Beijing household registration or new Beijing residents who hold a Beijing residence permit and have participated in basic medical insurance in another place.
