On September 20, the Tian'anmen Square Management Committee released the Tian'anmen Square Visit Reservation Service Tips, which requires visitors, both individuals and tourist groups, to make reservations under real name one to seven days in advance via the "Tian'anmen Square Visit Reservation Service Platform".
During the National Day holiday, a significant number of visitors are expected for activities such as the flag-raising ceremony. To ensure safety and order, temporary measures will be taken to guide the flow of visitors. Please enter the square in an orderly manner according to your reservation date, time, and designated entrance. Tourists without reservations will not be able to attend the flag-raising ceremony and other activities.

According to the Reservation Service Tips, dates available for reservation will be updated every day at 12:00 noon. Today (September 21), you can book a visit for September 28. This means that reservations for the flag-raising ceremony on October 1 can be made on September 24 (next Tuesday). If you are using the official WeChat mini program to make a reservation, please ensure that your WeChat app is upgraded to the latest version.
The Tian'anmen Square Management Committee advises visitors, both Beijing residents and tourists, to have their ID cards or other valid documents with them for on-site reservation verification and security checks. Please visit at your scheduled appointment time. If there are any changes to your itinerary, please cancel your reservation promptly. A souvenir certificate (electronic version) will become available in your reservation record within seven days following your visit, and you can view and download it free of charge.
