The icons of the three new cultural landmarks in Beijing Municipal Administrative Center
On December 27, three cultural landmarks in Beijing Municipal Administrative Center officially opened to the public. These venues, located in the Central Green Forest Park, are Beijing Art Center, Beijing Library, and the Grand Canal Museum of Beijing, all facing the buildings of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and the People's Government of Beijing Municipality across the Grand Canal.
Beijing Art Center
The ceiling of the opera house of Beijing Art Center is designed based on the caisson ceiling seen in traditional Chinese architecture.
Beijing Library
Beijing Library offers comfortable, well-lit, and aesthetically designed reading spaces.
The Grand Canal Museum of Beijing
The Grand Canal Museum of Beijing is showcasing a thematic exhibition titled "Beyond the Canal - Immersive Experience Exhibition". This exhibition utilizes a three-dimensional diffraction system that is the largest of its kind employed in the museums in China. Visitors can trigger spectacular displays of fireworks when standing at specific spots and waving their hands.
