On July 4, the 22nd Sanlitun Culture and Art Festival kicked off at the West Square of Taikoo Li in Sanlitun Sub-district. Themed "Introducing Sanlitun to the World", the Festival drew participants from the Culture Center of the Embassy of Italy in China, Culture Center of the Embassy of France in China, Taikoo Li, Sanlitun Diplomatic Residence Compound and Tayuan Diplomatic Residence Compound, as well as business leaders, local residents, and international friends.

The Festival featured a wide range of activities, including a cultural heritage salon themed on the twenty-four Chinese solar terms, traditional festival and artwork exhibitions, public service film screenings, folkloric sports competitions, and more.
