On November 14, Daxing Airport officially launched its heating system for this winter, which is expected to last until mid-March 2025.

In 2024, Daxing Airport has reportedly implemented a comprehensive upgrade to its digital operation and maintenance technology for the energy system. By leveraging differentiated control over 47 independent energy supply modules in the terminal, the airport now offers scenario-specific solar thermal supply plans tailored to flight schedules, outdoor temperatures, and passenger density in various areas. This ensures that passengers experience consistent comfort in all airport settings.

To address the unique needs of winter operations, Daxing Airport continues to provide several services, including "overnight services" and "winter clothing storage". The airport carefully monitors the lighting and heating in six overnight rest areas, ensuring a comfortable sleeping environment for travelers. Staff conduct nighttime patrols to ensure passengers are warm throughout their stay. From October 1, 2024, to March 1, 2025, elderly passengers (aged 60 and above), pregnant women, and travelers with disabilities flying from Daxing Airport to southern destinations can reserve a complimentary "winter clothing storage" service, an extra layer of convenience and care.
