Beijing Issues Orange Alert for High Temperatures

Beijing Municipal Meteorological Observatory issued an upgraded high-temperature orange alert at 9:00 on June 16, 2023. Most parts of Beijing are expected to see temperatures as high as 37 to 39 degrees Celsius. Please take necessary protective measures against the heat wave. This alert issued at 9:00 on June 16, 2023 will remain in place until it is lifted.
