This landscape design project has used multiple plant species, such as "Chaoji Aiqianniu" (an improved variety of garden petunia), French marigold, and wax begonia, with a total of over 280,000 flowers. The flowerbeds will remain on the square until the end of October this year. After the autumn deepens, the landscape design of Tian'anmen Square will be changed to a colorful wooden cover.

This year's floral decoration of Tian'anmen Square adopts an automatic irrigation system. The intelligent device will automatically adjust the irrigation amount based on soil conditions, which can not only meet the needs of plants but also achieve better water-saving effects.
