Yonghe Temple (The Lama Temple) to Launch Online Booking for Admission Tickets on January 12

The official website of Yonghe Temple (The Lama Temple) released the Announcement on Adjusting Booking Methods for Admission Tickets During 2022 Spring Festival on January 3. The main content is as follows:

Starting from January 12, 2022, Yonghe Temple (The Lama Temple) will enforce online booking with real-name registration for admission tickets . 

1. Maximum capacity of daily visitors: Yonghe Temple (The Lama Temple) will limit the number of visitors to 40,000 a day. Set at noon, there will be 20,000 tickets released respectively for each part of the day ( morning and afternoon ).

2. How to purchase admission tickets: Booking and purchasing through the official Wechat account of "雍和宫游客信众服务" (Service for Visitors to Yonghe Temple) is the only way for admission tickets. 

3. Real-name booking: Both booking and purchasing are registered with real-name, therefore, please provide information of valid identity certificates and bring the same documents to the site  for booking on the day of intended visit for admission. 1 admission ticket is allowed for 1 person to purchase and use per day. For each Wechat account, 3 tickets are allowed for purchase. 

4. Time for pre-sale: Visitors are allowed to purchase admission tickets 10 days in advance. Online sale for admission tickets is available from 8:00 to 18:00 every day.

5. Price: For each full fare ticket, it is CNY 25, and CNY 12 for each half ticket.

6. Opening hours: For weekdays, from 9:00 to 16:00; On Chinese New Years Eve, from 9:00 to 11:00; on the first day of the first month of the lunar year, from 7:00 to 17:00; from the second to the fourth day and on the sixth day of the first month of the lunar year, from 8:30 to 16:30; on the fifth and fifteenth day of the first month of the lunar year, from 8:00 to 16:30.

7. Tips: From the 1st-6th day and on the 15th day of the first month of the lunar year, tour guide service is not available, and visitors can scan the QR code for an audio guide to tour by themselves; depending on weather like haze, heavy rain or snow, or high wind, no ceremonial joss sticks will be burnt or brought onto the premises.
