The 2023 Global Debut Festival (hereinafter referred to as the "Festival") and In-Tech Carnival commenced on May 26 and will span until the end of November this year. Global debut centers, over 20 urban commercial complexes, shopping malls, department stores, art galleries, theaters, convention and exhibition centers in Beijing, as well as more than 100 renowned retail brands and over 300 first stores of influential brands, have been attracted to partake in this grand occasion. Centered on four captivating theme shows, namely "China-chic Time-Honored Brands", "Cultural and Creative Consumption", "Digital High-Tech", and "Sports Fast Fashion", the participating entities have launched an array of sub-events, including releases, debuts and exhibitions of new products.

According to the latest report on Beijing's first store and debut economy, an impressive count of 403 first stores of different brands have been established within the city during the initial five months of 2023. Notably, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, a perfume manufacturer, has unveiled its first department store-based store in Beijing, which is also the first one in China, while Be1st has opened its inaugural flagship store in Beijing.

With the start of the Festival, a remarkable lineup of 12 global debut centers, including Taikoo Li Sanlitun, the China World Mall, Beijing SKP, SKP-S, 751D - PARK, Wangfujing Commercial Street, Beijing Fun, Longfu Cultural Center, the New Shougang Park, the permanent venue of Beijing Design Week, Zhongguancun No.1, and Eve Castle, will host a myriad of sub-events including new product launches and debut exhibitions, while enticing a multitude of first-store products to make their debuts in Beijing.

The 2023 In-Tech Carnival commenced on the same day. At Zhongguancun No.1, many citizens were granted unique opportunities to immerse themselves in a world of groundbreaking products. The highlights included displays of bionic robot fish elegantly gliding through the water tank and AI assistants capable of engaging in seamless conversations. As an integral part of the 2023 ZGC Forum, this event brought together global technology enterprises, innovation teams, scientific research institutions, and universities, all converging in Beijing. Five scenario-based experiential spaces were set up with each presenting a mesmerizing audio-visual extravaganza.
